1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S

1968 Plymouth Barracuda 340 S.
Authentic 1968 Plymouth Fastback Barracuda 340 Formula S with Factory 4 speed Manual Transmission.  This Cuda was purchased from a family in Missouri that had started restoration on the car with the intention of changing the original Dark Green Color to Black.  Trunk and Engine Bay are now finished in Black.  This is a very solid Cuda with only minimal sheet-metal repair needed.  Floors and trunk pan are solid.  Door Jamb strikers are in excellent condition.  The fenders are correct but were off of a NON-Formula S car so before painting the hole locations will need to be changed for the S badges.  Dash is in very nice condition including both lower and main dash pads.  Mechanically the car is very good and the stock ‘70’ casting 340 runs out strong and shifts smooth.  Car has its correct manifolds and stock exhaust all the way out though the original exhaust tips.  Fender Tag says it’s a 3:91 rear end which is matched up by the differential tag still in place.  We have been waiting for the correct front seat covers from PUI for over 1 year to re-do the correct seats.  Back seat is very nice.
Car will need new door panels, headliner, carpet and paint.  We are Including correct Formula S badges, license plate bracket, marker lights and misc. barracuda badges. Priced with new seat covers installed on correct seats $26,500.  Without seat covers $25,500. WE can also paint the vehicle and deliver the car as a high-quality driver for additional cost.
